2012 Brass Monkey half marathon results
A total of 17 Selby Striders ran the rather windy Brass Monkey Half Marathon on Sunday 22nd Jan, from York Knavesmire. Ben Hamilton was the first Strider home in 1:19:05. The first lady Strider home was Susan Parkinson in 1:46:34. Full race results are here, and Selby Striders results are below.

Ben Hamilton ran the Central Lancashire Half Marathon in a new pb of 1hr 18 mins 23 secs, finishing 8th!

Ben Hamilton ran the Preston 10 mile road race in a personal best time of 58 mins 25 secs. Rob Mcwilliam also achieved a pb in his 10k race, Leeds Abbey Dash, in 36 mins 47 secs. Simon Leigh Hunt ran a good time at the Barnsley 10k, finishing in 45 mins 30 secs.

2011 Wistow 10 mile race
Selby Striders held the AkzoNobel Wistow 10 mile road race on Sunday 23rd October 2011. Congratulations to all entrants, especially to men’s winner Ian Fisher of Otley AC, and to ladies winner Dawn Broom from Barnsley Harriers. Full results are below, along with an article from Selby Times.
2011 Liverpool Marathon
What a Sunday! Brilliant run from Rob McWilliam at the Liverpool Marathon. He is the first Strider in years to beat 3 hours for the marathon with a time of 2.59.47 – perfect run eh Rob! Not only was he sub 3 he was also 26th out of 5036.
